Bae Bien-U, "Light of Grey" at Venice Biennale 2022

The Wilmotte Foundation presents Light of Grey, work by Bae Bien-U, commissioned for the 59th Art Biennale of Venice. Light of Grey is a series of photographic works captured in Venice and shown here for the first time. The pictures show the horizon far behind the islands around Venice as well as the somber warmth of the city’s alleys, including passages across tidal mudflats and water columns that guide the paths of the lagoon.
The works will be on view at Fondamenta dell’Abbazia in Cannareggio, Venice, until November 27, 2022.
