Bridge, Group Exhibition at Henro & Ma-Ka, Kanaal

Axel Vervoordt is pleased to present Bridge, a group exhibition installed in Kanaal’s Henro and Ma-ka spaces. One of the exhibition’s guiding philosophies is an exploration of art’s power in navigating complex cultural differences while offering potential dialogues toward coexistence and peace. The historical figurative artefacts and the contemporary sartworks reveal profound ways to show respect for diverse communities and their respective cultures, identities, languages, and religions. Some artworks confront viewers with painful memories and historical wounds, to foster a world where such atrocities are never repeated. Bridge invites viewers into a reflective journey toward understanding, insight, and reconciliation.
