Lucia Bru participates Kokela - Give life through art

Following the request of Doctors Without Borders, 12 Belgian and international artists took inspiration from what death implies in Congo and from Congolese death rituals.
The result is Kokela, a unique collection of diverse artworks that reflect on life and death. During the exhibition, curated by Evelyn Simons and Marianne Hoet, all the works are put up for sale in order to generate funds for Doctors Without Borders.
With work from artists: Lucia Bru and Philip Aguirre y Otegui, Timothy Segers, Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven, Eddy Ekete, Aimé Mpane, Freddy Mutombo, William Ludwig Lutgens, Kendell Geers, Léonard Pongo, Jean-Henri Compère and Michèle Magema.
