Axel Vervoordt at TEFAF Maastricht 2022
Axel Vervoordt is pleased to participate in TEFAF Maastricht, which takes place on June 25 - 30, 2022, with an invitation-only preview on Friday June 24. This year’s presentation features a selection of paintings and sculptures, each bearing witness to their respective origins in time and place with an interconnected sensitivity related to timeless aesthetics and achievements in materiality, proportions, and abstraction.
Our presentation will include the works of artists such as Jan Schoonhoven, Anish Kapoor, George Rickey, Kazuo Shiraga and Gotthard Graubner.
These and other works will be shown alongside modern design pieces and a selection of antiquities including a unique figure of a woman from Yemen, Qatabān, ca. 3rd century – 2nd century BC.
