Fifteen curators from different genetics and backgrounds invited 15 artists to the Rifrazioni exhibition at the Accademia di San Luca, with the aim of showing a cross-section of contemporary art. The 15 artists interpreted the spaces of the academy in their own way, resulting in a "Casa degli Artisti", a dialogue that intends to return to the topos of the past-present relationship, looking at the multiple and fragmented languages of modernity. "Since its foundation at the end of the 16th century, the Accademia di San Luca has been conceived as a sodality of artists and architects that has built its prestige and charisma on its autonomy and independence. To this day, the Accademia still works out its own path based on the exclusive will of the artists, architects and historians that make it up," Tirelli says.
